Anyone else see the flurries out there today? Merry White Christmas, Tacoma. How long has it been since this happened? |
by KevinFreitas on 12/25/2007 @ 1:11pm | Wow, it's really coming down now and the temp dropped on our home weather station. Any bets as to accumulation? No matter what, it's mighty pretty out there. |

by AP on 12/25/2007 @ 3:59pm | Funny things going on over here. I'm less than a 1/2 mile from Freitai HQ. Earlier my thermometer was reading 33, and it was pounding huge flakes outside. Now it's dropped to 31, the snow has stopped falling and the gutters are beginning to drip. What is going on??? Seems an inversion is forming. Doesn't look like anyone will be sledding 36th hill anytime soon... Still nice to have a true white xmas out there.
I talked to another long-time resident who insists that this hasn't happened in 20 years. I clearly remember the one 20 years ago (got a remote control car for xmas that day - super fun time running it in 2" of snow on my street) but it seems there must have been another more recent. Anyone? |
