Tacoma's Making It in the Digital World

In-Tacoma man just reminded me that there are eyes roaming our Tacoma streets. He confirmed what I thought I saw yesterday in a little black, compact car driving around town snapping our pictures. A pole sticks out of the top with a camera on top no doubt gathering fodder for one or both of Google or Microsoft's street-level views of city's around the nation/world.
Does this mean Tacoma has made it? Not bloody likely but every little acknowledgment of our fair city counts. First one to get in the shot with a FeedTacoma sign/banner wins a prize! |

 by Jake on 7/9/2008 @ 10:52am | It could also be AHBL working on the Downtown Master Plan update. I noticed they are doing some surveying around Yakima Ave. and I saw the car with a cam on top up near 19th and MLK.
Maybe they are working on some graphics for the project??? |
