|Sao Paulo, Brazil. Fourth largest city in the world. Now... virtually free of all outdoor advertising.
The result is nearly mind-blowing:
Turns out that one of the companies tossed out of town was our very own ClearChannel. Unsurprisingly, they fought... and lost.

We're up to $22 million. www.feedtacoma.com/forum/tacoma-developm... Wonder if anyone on the current city council is willing to push to get ClearChannel to finally comply and pay up?

|I have not heard an update on the federal case that the city has with Clear Channel. If anyone has an update, please post.|

|on 9th between Market and Fawcett, their is a clear channel billboard that advertises for a local gang.
Where the heck are the gangs going to adversise if they don't have access to blank clear channel billboard?

|I understand that the gangs have been losing a lot of membership due to incarceration here in Tacoma. Maybe that is the reason for the advertising push. Perhaps Rusty George can put together a good package to swell their numbers again.|

|Wow, that is amazing. That's like the real-world equivalent of an ad-blocker. I wonder if such 'software' could ever be installed in the US?|
