Maritime Fest is fun, fun, fun!

I know, that was a lot of "fun's". I headed down there this morning and really enjoyed myself. The dog jumping is hilarious! Dragon boat racing is in full effect. Even though Mayor Baarsma and team City of Tacoma (including David Curry and Marilyn Strickland) didn't win their first race it looks like a ton of fun. Also saw the beginning of the quick 'n dirty boat building teams slapping together craft that they'll later race at 4pm.
Check it out especially if, like myself, you've never been. It would make a great time for the whole family. Plus, you can park at the dome, take the Link to 9th, then a shuttle will run from there. Link to the Maritime Fest |
