Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe

You know the show -- with the funny guy doing all kinds of dirty jobs on the Discovery Channel? Today's show includes a segment at Tacoma Washington's LNS tire recycling facility (never heard of it). It's on right now if anyone's lurking... Probably over at 2pm so you better hurry. He started off by removing 90,000 illegally dumped tires near Chehalis, and they are now unloading truckfulls of them in our fine city. |

 by ensie on 2/24/2008 @ 10:34pm | As a known Mike Rowe fan, this particular episode was watched with much interest when it was originally on. It's now showing in reruns. I don't know how he snuck in here without my knowing about it...
He's done several shows in the Puget Sound area. His small production crew tends to keep things very much on the DL. I'm sure there's got to be a way to get that information though. |
by AP on 2/24/2008 @ 10:38pm | To clarify, all the tires were shredded in Tacoma and then transported to yet another location to be converted into cement or something. My earlier account sort of made it sound like they were just left here. |
