Just for the record, as co-plantiff in this suit, the Business Examiner, to my knowledge, NEVER tried to contact me for a comment. This makes it very easy to make Laura look like the bad guy. More »

Here's another part of the article: Asking for monetary damages and injunctive relief, Rowland Building owner Laura Hanan and tenant Kris Blondin allege that defendant M & M Properties Inc., owner of adjacent, residential Olympus Hotel and Apartments, have allowed the building and premises to be used in “a dangerous, destructive, unhygienic, noisy, and illegal manner,” according to court documents. Complaints range from garbage being thrown on the Rowland roof by Olympus residents; to tenants’ refuse attracting seagulls, which “crap all over” Hanan’s roof, according to one e-mail; to tolerance of drug dealing and other criminal activity.
