i located some better brighter chalk at uw bookstore. i had idea to lace a wooden frame with string into a pixely grid dust it with powdered construction snap line chalk and drop the frame leaving an imprint of the grid onto the concrete. More »

You have a good idea there. chalk is not 8bit With more contrast between chalk colors and a greater volume of chalk put down, I think your idea would work quite well. More »

Too many walls are really bland and I wish commissioned murals (graffiti-styled or otherwise) would go up. This would keep unwanted graffiti down and possibly provide more of an outlet for local artists of all kinds. More »
