this is not an issue of leases or who owns the rights to what property. this is an issue of the brain dead 'free market' destroying the best farmland in the world for the sake of an industry which is literally running on empty. More »

Nice dozer - I didn't know that book, but the look is unmistakeable - Virginia Lee Burton's Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel made a big impression on me, and I've recently passed it downward (via a copy from King's). More »

I don't know why the TNT hasn't covered it. KOMO reported, the FOX affiliate was also there the other night (though I haven't been able to find the story) and I know the Seattle PI has a reporter on it. More »
