Yes, the improvements at Wright Park would require public funding. I don't remember what my rant was about but we enjoy Wright Park so I wouldn't recommend any changes at this time. More »

Personally, I think what needs to be established is an 'identity' for the city focusing on drawing a specific industry(-ies) to the area. There's not a silver bullet big ticket tenant, but if we could find something like Redmond (Software development) or South Lake Union (Medical Research) that could attract a group of smaller businesses that benefit from being in a similar geographic location, then we might start to see a turn in the tide.
