"On the other hand is the 2010 settlement agreement the city worked out with advertising giant Clear Channel Outdoor, which in part calls for the removal of approximately 178 existing billboards in exchange for allowing Clear Channel to erect 10 digital billboards". Tacoma Weekly I could be wrong but I don't think the 2010 settlement agreement was "worked out with Clear Channel." I think Clear Channel gave the settlement agreement, drawn up by their own lawyers, to the city manager and told him to have the council sign it. More »
