What I've had a hard time understanding is how conservatives and faith-based Bush supporters can all be so pro-debt yet anti-tax. Nobody on the conservative side of the fence seemed to give a rat's ass when Bush was digging us deeper and deeper into pit of debt with stupid decisions made in the name of terror, but as soon the prospect of having to actually pay for services the government provides begins to loom, people are all, "whoa, hey there now, not so fast."
