DT spreads out lengthwise yes, and it all faces the port or as it's called on google maps "New Tacoma". Seattle's port is called Harbor Island, it's half the size of New Tacoma, is nowhere in sight from (and smell) from Seattle's DT. More »

Downtown: Dome to Stadium, Foss to MLK (probably even further east) is larger than Downtown Seattle (stadiums to SLU, Elliott Bay to I-5). Makes you wonder why our Downtown is so big for a city our size. More »
