The state does need to move from a sales tax to an income tax. Sales tax helps cities that don't need it and hurts those (like Tacoma) that have poorer populations (than Seattle anyways). More »

This is what happens when you have a heavily subsidized transit system. People pay lip service to transit but they don't actually want to ride it themselves, or if they do, they want to travel great distances by only paying a dollar or two. More »
