Frost Park will be populated at noon Friday, one way or another. A different mix for sure, as some regulars can't make it and I know some never-make-its are anxious to finally get the chance. More »

Personally, I would prefer Frost Park for all the reasons that Tacoma Chickadee mentioned. With two little ones too it would be easier for us. More »

Frost Park sounds like a good plan, but if you are still considering another location there's an enormous space for such a thing at Owen Beach. Lots and lots of cement by the picnic tables, and I'm sure the beach will be crowded on the 4th but not nearly as insane as Ruston Way. More »

I'm planning to go down to Ruston Way anyway so I like the idea of seeing everybody down there chalking. Its always a royal pain fighting the crowds down there so I suggest getting permission from the city and forming some sort of barrier around the chalk area. More »

With this Friday being the 4th of July there's lots going on around Tacoma. For the weekly chalk off I beg the question: shall we forge on at Frost Park as usual knowing there may be a distinct lack of work-day related traffic or do we attempt to re-locate for the day down along Ruston or Dock St. More »
