Spew: Tacoma Taxis

on 6/18/2007 @ 3:37pm 		Dang -- Natasha over at Spew wrote some serious words about Tacoma taxi dispatchers.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've been hung up on, cussed at and disrespected by these dispatchers just for trying to get clarification on an estimated time of arrival. When I've called back to express my concerns about the way I was treated, I've been verbally abused again.

I can only remember taking a taxi once from the train station home. That's probably the only place they actually hang out so we didn't have to deal with any dispatchers. Just a driver who talked about some serious Tacoma shadiness of yore. I wonder if taxi drivers would serve as good blog tipsters?

What's your experience been with local taxis? Good, bad, or ugly?
