Can you help with a tech problem?

I have a new Dell laptop with Vista installed. When entering text in any application the cursor constantly disappears or jumps to another spot in the document. My old PC running windows 98 never demonstrated this problem. |
 by KevinFreitas on 11/4/2008 @ 9:13am | Take care not to bump your palms on the laptop's trackpad. Often times a tap on the pad at a particular spot will coincide with a location on-screen. Can get really frustrating in just the situation you're talking about. If you're using a mouse I believe there are ways to disable the trackpad likely in the "Control Panel" area of Vista.
