Washington Arms Collectors a.k.a. Puyallup Gun Show

The gun show at the Puyallup Fairgrounds is put on by the Washington Arms Collectors. If you've never been to a gun show, this weekend is a great time to make it your first! I can't wait to feel the spirit in the air, especially with the "ruling" from the US Supreme Court that just came out. Why a gun show? Why not. You have northwest and local entrepreneurs there, selling their wares, and it's not just guns. Do you want to talk about banned books? Check out the Militia of Montana. They've got stuff Kings Books and other stores won't even touch, not to mention great emergency medical supplies. Plus, you pay cash and it's not put down in a database like through Amazon or anywhere else. Need something for the kids? You've got toys all over the place. The Beanie Baby fad has died down, thank goodness, but you can find them there. Need a nice wood-carved sign? You can get one there. T-shirts? Yep. Empty cigar boxes? Yep. You've got new and used, old and young, and on Sundays people give great deals because they don't want to pack it back up to lug it home. And if you want people watching, well, it's great for that too. And sometimes people protest, and what's more American than the melding of 1A and 2A in one location? It's beautiful! Feel unsafe at a gun show? Please research how many criminally-motivated or mass-killing style shootings have taken place at gun shows, and gun ranges for that matter. Once you have that research done, please let me know as I haven't found any yet. They don't have signs saying no guns allowed, so criminals tend to stay away. Do you think it's oh so easy to buy a gun at a gun show? Please, come and watch and observe. Don't take the news' word for it. See for yourself just how "easy" it is. Then try to stop yourself from laughing at how the news makes it all sound compared to how it really is. |
