Tideflats Fire

Just received a call from Kevin that there appears to be a fire blazing in the tideflats around the shipyard and docks. Emergency crews were spotted heading towards the shipyard around 5:30pm. Kevin's downtown at the moment, and was able to get pics of the fire/smoke. I expect he'll have those posted shortly. Anyone else see this first-hand or know what happened? My hope is no one was hurt. |
 by KevinFreitas on 2/17/2008 @ 10:46am | Here are some shots of the plume of smoke from that marina fire yesterday:   From my vantage point the smoke died down to just steam within 15 or 20 minutes. Kudos to all the responders for getting the fire under control so quickly. |
