Morning Stand off In Tacoma

Anybody else see the police stand off at the bottom of 9th street down town? It looked pretty similar to what happened in seattle... bank robber thing. there was gunplay and then the guy jumped in what looked like a 5th wheel dodge truck cab sped off followed by 5 cop cars. |

by NineInchNachos on 7/2/2008 @ 9:05am | I saw shotguns and a man threatening to jump off the cliff near the gazebo of that park with the totem pole. there was a bus in the middle of it and the whole intersection was blocked off with police cars. the dude then ran back to his truck and sped off... cops followed.
Were any shots fired? I couldn't tell. |

The senior citizens across the street observed with ennui.....I just drove home. A martini was calling my name. |
