Paddy Coyne's for din-din

Sarah had a hankering so we dropped in. Got myself their grilled cheese with tomato and bacon which turned out pretty tasty. The fries were awesome! Oh, and the Irish soda bread appetizer surprised me. Just a slight bit of sweet in it made it for me. Sarah had her usual fish 'n chips and liked it. For drinks, hard cider in a bottle -- not what I'd expected nor I would probably order again.
Saw a bunch of Tacoma peeps out and about too. Saw a guy I met briefly who works out at PLU in my former digs. Stopped by Erik B's office. I believe Embellish's Patricia Lecy-Davis was dining outside at Paddy Coyne's though I don't know here well so didn't say "hi", stupid shy Kevin. Then we even saw Daily Index Todd walk by. |

by jenyum on 6/26/2007 @ 9:15am | Oh, soda bread....I miss soda bread.
This is my favorite recipe: ballina.mayo-ireland.ie/Brigown/SodaBrd.... The "treacle" (molasses) version, especially. Hard cider sounds good to me, we'll have to stop by soon. |
