Getting a mural project going
|

So, inspired by the first Local Life forum and meet-up I want to get a couple murals going downtown. Anyone have advice as to how I can get started? I have a couple locations and ideas in mind and want to help make something happen. Since the graffiti garage thing didn't seem to sit well with the city I'd like whatever gets done not to get whited out. |

I would contact Morgan Alexander from Music and Murals who helped with the work on Hilltop. musicandmurals.com/ Since the graffiti garage thing didn't seem to sit well with the city I'd like whatever gets done not to get whited out. There's no risk of that as long as you have permission from the owner. I don't think any of the Hilltop Murals have ever been at risk of being painted over. |

Anyone with a camera feel like joining me sometime this week (especially since we'll have an extra hour of daylight now) to take a look at some places? I'm thinking it would be a good idea to take pictures of some blank walls, jot down addresses and owner contact info, then pick the most likely candidates to contact about it. |
