I suppose this question fits in this category since we don't have a television and will have to pay for at least drinks in order to watch the Patriots/Colts game tomorrow. So is there a decent place in town or nearby that will be playing this game? I'm fully aware that low-key and football are a ridiculous pairing but I'd just like to avoid the typical chain restaurant or sports bar type atmosphere - although if that's all that's available, I'm willing to tolerate it.

by nrefadaj on 11/3/2007 @ 7:09pm | Ack! That sounded so good...but they're closed tomorrow! |

by AP on 11/3/2007 @ 9:08pm | I would think The Spar would have it on - they have a few TV's and good food. Other options for you might be the West End Tavern at 6th & Proctor, La Fondita at 27th & Proctor or Dock Street Landing down on the Thea Foss Waterway. |

by KevinFreitas on 11/3/2007 @ 10:47pm | Shoot, forgot Red Hot's closed Sun. PSP has a few sets and might have it on, too. |

by Jim @ PSP on 11/4/2007 @ 12:49am | PSP shows all NFL games on HD LCD flat screens in the bar. Sunday Breakfast served from 9am - 130ish.
Colts and Patriots kickoff at 1pm. Seahawks are away at Cleveland and kickoff is also at 1pm, so I would guess tube time will be shared between both games.
For those who don't know ... Puget Sound Pizza is located downtown Tacoma @ 317 S. 7th, on the corner of South 7th and St. Helens Avenue.
Sunday Special: PSP Bloody Mary $4.
Rock on. |

by nrefadaj on 11/4/2007 @ 5:20pm | Just got back from watching the game at PSP with a Hipster pizza and a couple of pitchers. And the Pats won. Couldn't have been better. Thanks! |

by KevinFreitas on 11/4/2007 @ 6:30pm | Glad you found a spot -- hooray for PSP! |

by NineInchNachos on 11/5/2007 @ 1:09pm | how about silent films? I know the stuffed shirts at broadwaycenter do the silent films, but what fun is that without pizza? |
