Opa! is Open

I drove by this weekend and noticed their "Open" sign was lit. I also noticed not too many cars in the parking lot.

Anyone up for Greek food? Tomorrow? Wednesday?

6 pm sounds good, I'm going to try to line up a sitter.

I finally found a phone number, I'll give them a call later today and get some info about the menu/give them a heads up if we're sure on the time.

Brilliant jen, thanks! Anyone else want in before jen gives them a call? Nothing wrong with going separately either (especially if there's a mandatory gratuity for larger groups). I'm cheap, I know. ;)

OK, I had to be sort of vague about it, since I'm not sure of the interest.

I made a reservation for 5 (ensie, frinklin, kevin, sarah, and me, since those are the people who have spoken up) for 6:00 tomorrow night, and said there may be a few more in our party. The reservation is under "Jennifer," if anyone gets there before I do.

I also told them this was being discussed online and that more people may decide to come tomorrow night.

They have their menu online. You have to click down to each individual type of item to see it, but it's all there, including prices. Dress is casual.

Anything I'm leaving out? Let me know! See you tomorrow night.

I will definitely be there. My bad though - Frinklin will be at rehearsals, so I'll be stag. Can't wait to see y'all!

How did I not hear about this place until today? Sheesh.

(I'm a Classical Greek nerd, but I'm also slowly assimilating their modern culture in preparation for a trip there next year, and I already love the food, so you can imagine why I'd be excited)

I'll definitely need to give it a go sometime.

Not so much demanding, but rather unwilling to check any other local pages besides the discussion page of Feed Tacoma in the morning. Thanks for the link and the review. Pretty soon (if not already), fledgling restaurateurs will have no choice but to coordinate their openings with your schedule!
