Anybody know what's going on at McCabe's? I just walked by and there is a group of workers installing a chain link Rent-A-Fence around the entrance and about half the parking lot... all that's inside that portion are a Jeep and a van and the fence trailer... is there construction to be done here?
The other half of the lot is still open and in use, presumably by surrounding businesses.

A call over there about 5:30pm didn't yield any answer. There was, however, a digitally garbled answering machine that picked up the didn't provide one intelligible word. I could walk a block over there from my office... but no. |

on 3/13/2008 @ 5:42pm | It's difficult to say... when we did the drive-by (note to self: come up with a better phrase than "drive-by" when referring to going past McCabe's) it looked like maybe it was fencing it off for some kind of event? I don't know. it certainly doesn't yet give off the impression of being for construction. |
