Triangle Square would totally be improved by a Sarlaac Pit...

Yes, just need the spine/teeth and hunter-tentacles; would be a good way to keep children in the park... as in slowly digested over a thousand years.

Also folks will have to wait for Downtown Hipster Lunch Crisis II to gain experience points visiting new places like The Red Hot, Urban Exchange, etc.

I want the board game. Like Cranium games are sold at Starbucks perhaps a loose coalition of Tacoma coffee spots could carry this bit of diversion.

A couple of questions.

What do you have to roll to determine your moves? Surely not dice, as that would be too pedestrian.

Where are the pieces representing the players? Will they be arbitrary like Monopoly tokens (hat, shoe or iron) or standardized a'la the multicolored gingerbread like folks in Candyland (creepy faceless plastic).

Why do I feel compelled to turn everything into a product to be sold? I suppose I will have to answer that myself.

the pieces are supplied by the player. I would recommend hand-painted DandD pewter figurines.

there are also no dice. Rolls/Moves are determined by the honor system.

Anybody else amused by this sentence? Words with multiple meanings are fun.

That's hilarious.

Satellite Coffee might want to buy that one from you.

Perhaps you could supply figurines from your City Council hearings posts. I would fight over Lonely UP Guy pewter figurine, or 70's Business Woman figurine.

eventually we all will be made into Tacoma Action Figures

Your board's going to have to be pretty big to accomodate fully jointed action figures as pieces.

not so if we vectorize them. infinitely scalable!

You can sell expansion maps! 6th Ave Hipster Lunch Crisis featuring the Red Hot, Masa, Herban Cafe! East Tacoma Hipster Lunch Crisis featuring Friesenberger and Top of Tacoma! Each playable on its own or linkable to each other for one super-mega-ultra Crisis. A Crisis In Multiple Neighborhoods, if you will...

(bonus points if you read the above paragraph and realized instantly just how much of a nerd I was... even though it would mean that you are one, too)

I am officially leaving the izenmania pewter action figure for someone else to use as their game token.

Izenmania fear not, someday you'll meet a girl (or whatever) and they'll be more than happy to accept your pewter action figure as their game token.

In the meantime: stop looking for answers through sin.

RR- you are on (to) something. I would love to see the Cranium edition of this! I wonder what other kind of Tacoma themed games are out there?
