Not quite sure on what to vote for but Robert Hill (Nothing against Walker) and Will Baker will definitely get my vote.

To R R Anderson (NiN) a friend of mine put up 3 Robert Hill signs up by the west entrance of the Tacoma Mall. They should have been laminated but instead they were quickly put in sealed plastic bags and duck taped up (all around the poles as they were somewhat wet)..I later took some photos of them.Kinda dark because of the clouds and slight drizzle.Tacoma Mall shoppers might see them though.

Here is a quick video of them.

Some more videos.Found more Hill signs.Wonder what would happen if some were found at the entrance of the News Tribune building.

Another one found near the west entrance of the Tacoma Mall.

Several  found at the very busy intersection of South 38th and Pine very near a huge Tacoma Police substation complex
The video doesn't do it justice as the Hill signs can easily be seen by my eye (Maybe glare from the Sun)

I know how much you guys enjoy the Robert the Traveler Hill saga, but voting for him is actually really not funny.

I live in his district and I appreciate being able to contact my elected representatives.  Were he to win out of some kind of anti-incumbent madness, my district would be effectively disenfranchised.  I would continue to go out of my way to avoid ever being in the same room with Mr. Hill, because his tendency to harass politically active women is not something that I spend a lot of time chuckling about.

I see what you're saying and yes the lady stalking is creepy, but do you honestly fear Lauren Walker will not have a next term?  Do you really think so little of her accomplishments thus far?

If there's a wave of anti incumbancy fever I would say the council has brought that on itself. Four years ago the city had a healthy reserve fund and was operating in the black. Today the reserve fund has been spent and we're looking at a $26,000,000 hole in the city budget. Why didn't you contact your elected representatives during the last 4 years and warn them that their decisions might give rise to a wave of anti-incumbancy?

I honestly think there's maybe a 10% chance of that happening, and continuing to feed that possibility by suggesting that it's a funny protest vote probably doesn't help.

In the school board primary, 2,805 people voted for a candidate with the following voter pamphlet statement:

"I started be involved in Politics since my daughter was 2 years. Jan. 2009 called the problem solver Kiro 7 to referred fl ood victims to American Red Cross.  Oct. 6, 2008 declared City Hall, Lakewood, I helped trouble banks of $724.20 billion.  And I said I will sign the $365.615 billion dollars for American people.

My past, once serve in Advisory Boards, Health and Human Services like create jobs like in Home care, adoption, foster care, orphanage, nursing homes, respite care of taking care of grandchildren and children.  Community develpment like affordable housing for disables and Social Security Administration.  Landmark and Heritage of building other Hospitals instead Kaiser Permanent. Social Service Block Grants  vehicles recipients and gas.I volunteered take niece to school at Jenny Reed, WA.I talked to the Vice Principal Wilson about Community Development of adding Child Care Center.

Appeared on Tacoma Electric Power and Fircrest.  Comment Sumner affordable Housing. Dupont for Housing, trees and administrative costs. Comment Fife.Comments to Congress, Senate and State Representative Medicare, Medicaid and unemployment funds available recipients.  Saving the U.S Military Bases in our U.S. Territories and Foss High School.  Clover Park School District've Community Service before Graduation. Comments Pierce Transit."

In the other school board race, more people voted for a candidate who did no campaigning and attended no candidate forums, than voted for the incumbent.

I would say that anti-incumbent fever is pretty extreme right now.

It was either weird characters or stick with it stripping out all the paragraph breaks. Encoding problem? I know you like your home made stuff but maybe just going with something like ckeditor or tinymce would be easier?

by NineInchNachos on 10/28/2011 @ 1:04pm
its an encoding error!

No, it's just because all of my characters are special. :)

I agree with Fredo's point here.As someone who also lives in Mr.Hill's district I feel empowered, voted for Hill (and Baker) and just today mailed in my ballot.
