Cartoonist extraordinaire/Chalkie Monlux Holds Sat. Lecture

As part of the "Art at Work" events, Tacoma Art Supply is Tacoma Art Supply is hosting this artist lecture by Mark Monlux on how artists can develop contracts to make sure that they get paid.

Workshop will cover issues pertaining to ownership of work, licensing, copyright and trademark. Artists will learn how to make sure they get what they deserve for all the time they work at creating art. Learn to true value of your work. Learn how not to get fleeced. Learn how not to sign your rights away.

Mark Monlux is an award winning illustrator and cartoonist. He has been working strictly as a freelance illustrator for the past 25 tears, He has also served as the Graphic Artists Guild's voice on Ethics. His lectures on Contracts, Contract Negotiation and Freelance Survival Skills are legendary.
