City Arts Magazine Seeking Tall Ships Photos
|
by Bond at City Arts on 3/7/2008 @ 11:08am |
Hello all,
I know there are many talented photographers lurking around these parts, so I thought I would put this out there: City Arts is looking for one exceptional photograph of a Tall Ship taken in Tacoma. At the moment, we only have a few basic requirements: the photograph must be high resolution, which I believe translates in digital photography speak to 300 dpi or higher. And it should reproduce well at 17.5 X 11 inches. We would love to showcase the work of a local photographer--professional or hobbyist--so if you, or someone you know, have a photo that meets the requirements, please contact me at bondh@cityartstacoma.com to submit a photo for consideration. Thanks! -Bond Huberman, City Arts Associate Editor p.s. On another note: we at City Arts love getting your feedback. If you read the magazine, tell us how we're doing some time. You can send letters-to-the-editor to: editorial@cityartstacoma.com |

If I might make a suggestion, you should try the Tacoma group on Flickr: www.flickr.com/groups/tacoma/ Also, if you haven't already, I'd try just searching for Tall Ships Tacoma on Flickr. If you sign up for an account you can leave comments on photos or send Flickr mail to ask about photos you particularly like. |

I looked through my shots and, since I took none from the water, there's little if any "Tacoma" in them at all. |
