Volunteering at Mother Earth Farm

Growing Food for People in Need

Volunteers are needed at Emergency Food Network's Mother Earth Farm located 5 miles southeast of downtown Puyallup. This unique soil-to-table program grows more than 100,000 pounds of organic vegetables, fruits, and honey for local food banks each year. With more than 1.4 million visits to Pierce County emergency food programs annually, produce from the farm provides a fresh and nutritious food option. Volunteers help with seeding, planting, weeding, irrigation, and harvesting. Individuals, families, and groups are welcome. No experience is necessary. Staff will be on site to provide training and supervision. Space is limited and registration is required.
