Victorian Holiday Celebration

Add to My Calendar

Visit the W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 6 and enjoy an old-time holiday atmosphere. Staff and volunteers dressed in Victorian costumes will answer questions, serve refreshments and take donations of socks, mittens and/or cash for the Tacoma Rescue Mission Family Shelter. Santa will be on hand to hear holiday wishes and have a professional photo taken with your children. One print will be mailed in a holiday folder and the JPEG format can be e-mailed to friends and family. All ages welcome. Free admission; small fee for photos. This holiday season offers a special treat as the Chihuly at Seymour 100 exhibition is displayed amid a sea of colorful amaryllis and poinsettias and fragrant paperwhites. For more information call 591-5330 or visit www.metroparkstacoma.org The Conservatory is located at 316 South G St. in Tacoma’s Wright Park.
