Tacoma Buddhist Temple Fall Food & Crafts Bazaar

Chicken teriyaki, Spam “musubi” riceballs, rice curry and other crowd favorites return to the Tacoma Buddhist Temple Fall Food and Crafts Bazaar.

Diners can also shop at a craft and rummage sale featuring Japanese-themed items and enjoy a display and sale of sumi-e watercolor paintings by the Puget Sound Sumi Artists.

The bake sale offers a variety of sweets including “mochi” cupcakes and the always popular “daifuku mochi,” a confection made of sweet rice flour and red azuki beans.

The luncheon menu feathers freshly prepared items including: kabobs, chicken teriyaki, chow mein, rice curry, udon noodles, several types of sushi (“inarizushi,” “maki zushi” and Spam “musubi”). and several desserts. Some items will be available in vegetarian versions.

Each fall, the bazaar draws hundreds of community members. Come early before the favorites sell out!
