Tacoma Art Museum and Centro Latino invite you to the Dia de los Muertos FREE Community Festival with FREE museum admission from noon to 5 pm.

Celebrate the Latin American holiday honoring the eternal cycle of life through folk music, dances, and songs of Mexico, Central, and South America. Decorate sugar skulls in the Open Art Studio and hear traditional stories told in both English and Spanish.

See the community ofrendas (altars) and student artwork on view in the third-floor education wing and the tapete (sand painting) in the lobby. Enjoy refreshments and desserts in the Community Art Space or tasty Mexican fare from the El Taco Express truck on the plaza.
