ADDICTED: A Woman Scorned

presented by Zero Gravity Dance Company

The event, titled "Addicted: A Woman Scorned" is a story which follows a woman through finding love, being hung up on love, losing love, striving for revenge, then finding herself.

The show was created, directed, and primarily choreographed by newcomer, Jimmy Shields, and will prove to be a dynamic first stage production for the
20 year-old Director, Choreographer, Instructor.

"ADDICTED" will feature Zero Gravity Dancers, 14 dancers, ranging in age from 17 years – 30+ years, all local residents, performing today's most popular forms of dance expression with urban young adults: hip-hop & lyrical expression.

"I want my audience to understand that all dance forms tell a story. People go to the ballet to see the story of Swan Lake. I expect my audience will leave realizing that dance is not either ballet or hip hop, but that all forms blend to create true expression.", states Shields. "We expect the audience will be truly energized by this fall's program,"
said Candi Hall, D.A.S.H. Founder and Executive Director. "The creative ability that is brewing in our Tacoma youth is really so inspiring. Everyone should come out to support the vision of our youth!"
