Urban Foraging Discussion at the Food Justice Book Club

Discuss the food you can find in Tacoma's urban jungle!

This is the Urban Foraging edition of the Food Justice Book Club, where we will be discussing Rebecca Lerner's book "The Dandelion Hunter," now available at King's Bookstore in both paperback and ebook form.

About the Dandelion Hunter:
"A hip, young Portland writer tells of her quest to become proficient at survival off the grid in this entertaining story of adventure and discovery. Her foray into foraging covers four hot-selling subjects—food, nature, survival, and sustainability."

We will be discussing all of these topics, and the night will whet our appetite for the following weekend's urban foraging foray, in which we will meet to find delicious and medicinal edibles right in our own urban backyards. This foray will be listed as a separate event, so stay tuned!
