Curious about birds but don't know your crown from your tail feather? All are welcome to this introduction to the joy of identifying the birds that are all around us. You will learn how to identify common birds and how to use a field guide and binoculars. Learn too about some of the best places to see birds and practice your newfound birding skills. There is one local field trip to Steilacoom Park on Saturday, September 22, 8:00am - noon. Class meets at the Tacoma Nature Center. Call 253-591-6439 to register.
