Need a sponsor for tomorrow! Who will it be...?

Today's theme is anything in honor of chalker since season 1 Dawntown who is leaving us for more Texas-y pastures.

Huh, here's a fun flashback to how/when Frost Park-related meet-ups started happening: www.feedtacoma.com/forum/local-life/down...

Nice memories, Izenman doesn't get enough credit! I can't believe how much time has passed since then, and it's fun revisiting how everyone just made it happen.
Did you see Steve's piece in the T-Weekly?

Yeah, I always try to give him credit since Tricia or RR seem to always get it. The meet-ups were @izenmania's idea, chalk was RR's.

Today's prize grab bag from Dawn herself! Stuff she can't use since she's leaving Tacoma including Museum of Glass tickets, Vertical World free passes, a $25 Amocat gift card, and more!

Although I like the other pieces, I have to vote for Dawn and her simple yet elegant message.

Is there any effect on the health of the Puget Sound when glitter enters the drain at the end of the sidewalk?

Until that gets decided I vote Stowe...Good Luck to Dawn!

baby fish eat the glitter flakes and it builds up their immunity to plastic in the ocean. It's good for them!

I vote for Stowe

Here's my completed piece, finished just after Kevin left:

Chris still wasn't finished when I left, but here's how his looked on my way out:

Also, is this (below) piece old or new? I can't recall if it's been lingering for weeks or if someone drew it today. I'm not sure who drew it:

Wish I'd read the thread before heading down. Didn't take the time to talk to Dawn, not realizing or suspecting until after she left that a goodbye was happening this week. :-/

I gotta admit, I teared up a bit when I saw Dawn's piece. So my vote goes to Dawn. I realize she can't use the prizes since she's offering the prizes, but I think her piece wins anyway.

Me too Adam, I wish I would've read the thread before I chalked. I would like to say farewell to Dawn and good luck in Texas.

Dawn, maybe you should start a chalk off Texas-style. If Austin is your destination, I bet it would work in that town!

I really loved reading the thread that started all this Frost Park Friday activity. Super cool.

Ok, enough yapping, I vote for Stowe.

Chalk up a Vote for Stowe. Really eye catching little piece.

It's tough -- between Stowe and Debivans. Both are awesome pieces. Shoot, I actually dig Nathan's too -- really fun work! Alright, I vote Stowe mostly because he only started with the top part, napped in the sun, then did the bottom bit. Great job everyone and, Dawn, you'll be missed. :)

I vote for my son Barrett. I love his odd message- very subversive. He's also just an all around great kid.

Fare-thee-well, Dawn. Thank you for the generous sponsorship this week. Have a safe trip to Texas!
