Cold Connections Workshop- You can make all kinds of connections without solder. What is a cold connection? Rivets, screws, nuts and bolts, tabs, prongs, staples, the list goes on. Basically any connection that requires no heat can be referred to as a cold connections. This is a great solution when you want to incorporate found objects, are materials that cannot be heated, such as glass, wood, stone, paper, plastic etc. There is a whole world of cold connections out there, so be ready for inspiration when you come to this class! Students are encouraged to bring found objects or items to incorporate into samples and a finished project.
