It's a very Dorky's video game chalk off this week. I'm excited enough that I wanted to get the info out early to get people excited. Here's the prize for this week's winner:

- Free meal for 2
- 1 hour of free play on a pinball machine
- 10 minute pinball lesson from the master, Les
- Free Dorky's t-shirt

This week's theme: All things arcade.

My boss pulled his trump card on me today, and I may need to head into the Seattle office Friday. I'm trying to arrange it so I can still go to the luncheon. But just in case is there anyone else who wants a free lunch at the Pacific Grill Event Center?

For the first time in months I got to go down to the Frost Park Chalk Off! I had a great time and a good workout. This is Stowe by the way... I can't figure out my old login so I am using my son's (apparently).

Here's our certificate from the 2012 New Tacoma Awards

Congrats to all the chalkies, we've been nominated for the Public Spaces Award both years of its existence.

Last year's was awarded to Spaceworks and this year's was awarded to Metro Parks: Wright Park Play & Spray ground.

Oh man, I knew there was going to be some good art out there today (which is why I went to the awards lunch)

I love whole park art, and Kevin's photo work really shows Stowe's piece off. I like the inferences of Mark's pinball game. Al's is amazing too. Gini and Adam never cease to impress me. Poppy tugs at my Doctor heartstrings; however

I'm going to have to VOTE for debivans... you know if Space Invaders came out today that's what those buggers would look like.

Sucks that I couldn't make it. Night shift does that to you.

Anyway, I vote for Stowe. Why? This is the FIRST chalk piece that requires being 4 stories up just to fit it on camera.
That and pac-man is wicked cool.
