Join Jake Dekker as he talks about his book One Kid at a Time, a biography of an adoption. Danny had no chance. Abandoned at infancy. Beaten and tortured at five. Placed in foster care at seven. Jake Dekker spent more than two years representing children as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). He regularly advocates for child welfare and foster care reform. He is working on his next book about children in the child welfare system.
