Spelling Bee

(for adults)

Feeling pococurante? When you listen to appoggiaturas are you plagued by visions of vivisepulture? Then my prospicience tells me you are ready to compete in our second annual spelling bee (for adults)! Gain vindication for slighted wrongs in junior high while raising money for Tacoma Public Schools. Jessica Corey-Butler (of the Weekly Volcano) and Amanda Morstad will be back to defend their crown as Tacoma's bestest spallers.

Teams of two (or one) persons will compete for glory and illustriousness. Entry fee is $5 per team with the profits going to the Scholars and Champions Association, a nonprofit raising money for the Tacoma Public Schools. Only 30 teams can compete. Email sweet pea to secure your spot. Even if your spelling is egregious, watching adults sweat over spelling the word iridescent is truly something to see.

Cost / Admission
free to watch/ $5 a team to participate
