Since last week I didn't get to vote I'm voting right away this time around! I love RR's 253-related work and Britton's is just beautiful. The tributes to the Puget Sound were all awesome and I love Jake's piece. For overall Puget Sound/253 spirit, however, my vote goes to Ariel.

Well done everyone! See ya next week!

I vote for RR... mostly because he still has unbroken legs.

I vote for Poppy's Puget Sound and the Purple Crayon ... especially now that she acknowledges that I'm not a myth. I'm a real girl.

Ariel's is awesome! Joels' is great!
Troy's has a comic at the bottom. A comic about about scooping octopus poop told in amazing detail. Six steps and four P's!

Check out Kevin's more detailed pictures to get a real appreciation...Panel four is really hilarious.)!

I vote Troy.

While I appreciate the allure of Britton's beautifully drawn boobs, I think I have to vote for Troy. The detail on the Octopus cartoon is great when you look at it on Kevin's site.

I vote for Poppy's "Puget Sound and the Purple Chalk." I love Harold and his purple crayon. This is a great homage to both the children's books and to some of the symbols and geography of
western Washington.

I'm going to have to vote for Britton. It's really well executed and well designed.

I vote for Poppy's as well.

I would however buy Tshirts with the 253 uterus and Ariel's design and Britton's design.

Britton and Troy's and Jake's are all awesome!

Despite the super smug look on my walrus from last week, I vote for Poppy's Purple Chalk. Nice use of the space. (HT to Troy, too!)

I had soooo much fun today! I love seeing my fellow chalkies! The boobs are very compelling. However, I think I shall vote for my T Town piece. I want to do T-shirts. (I totally want Britton's piece on a shirt as well. I just couldn't wear that one to work :P)

BTW, I did the stacked 253 labeled as unknown above. I've seen tags around town like that.

I'm such a putz! Was so busy packing I forgot to vote, Darn It! All well. I still adore my talented Frost Park fellows. BTW I hereby promise to continue enjoying everyone's company on Fridays even when my menagerie and I relocate to Buckley.

I always forget to vote on weeks I'm not around (though I like to think maybe I was present in a way - perhaps inside Thorax's flying saucer), and it's a damn shame because it's the only time I'm 100% sure I don't want to vote for myself.

Instead, I had a great time chalking with Andrea and new acquaintance Sam at Browns Point Elementary for a shindig they had there. Great collaborations were created with children of varying ages. I'll have to see if I can pull some stills from the footage I shot of the resulting artwork. But not now. For now, it's time to tally the votes!

Ariel - 6
RR- 1
Poppy - 4
Troy - 5
Britton - 7

Britton narrowly scrapes by Ariel as the winner of this week's Frost Park Chalk-Off! Congratulations, Britton, it was well-earned!

Even the Walrus agrees with lust (and soft porn).
