This week's sponsor is our own Frost Park chalk master Joel who's offering up one of his new chalk off t-shirts to the winner! Check it out:

You'll get your choice of color (tri-black or athletic blue) and size! These are printed on high quality American Apparel so this is a t-shirt worth wearing. Thanks Joel!

Interestingly, because the way my day is shaping up tomorrow, I won't be able to be at Frost Park because I will be going to pick up the T-shirts. If I happen to get back before 1pm, I'll swing by the park!

Awesome, thanks for the update Joel. Can't wait to see/wear 'em!

Joel, thanks for stepping up and making a difference in this and other things I know you're involved in.

Thanks Dave, I like to dive in head first! Which is easy when you know there's a supportive group there to jump in after you when there's shallow water.

Wow, theme ideas... 72-hour film fest is showing this weekend. Maurice Sednak... spring weather.. allergies...

Failed designs for the Frost Park T-shirt ;)

Frost Park is so grass roots and a encompassing event. Express yourselves, you may be surprised!

We're adding to the prize pot a $25 gift certificate from the fine folks at Villa Cafe & Imbibery!

I will not be able to compete today as I've a huge deadline. In fact, I won't be able to compete for the next three weeks as I've got convention shows on those remaining dates. If you bought a CLAW t-shirt and are waiting for me to show up at Frost Park to collect them, call me instead to arrange for pick up or mailing.

Good luck to all today!

I don't have a ride today but would love to head down. Anyone willing to pick me up and drop me off? I work in the Nalley Valley.

Incidentally, I vote for MYSELF.

So much great chalking today!!!

I'm going to have to go with Debivans, as my vote.

But a shout out to Troy for his awesome wall piece!

I once again vote for Debivans' most disturbing work.

Did somebody say T-shirt?

Athletic Blue

I have plenty of shirts in the tri-black in sizes XS-2XL.
I have a limited number of shirts in each size for the Athletic blue.

I will bring the box with me to the park next week. (If you "pre-ordered" a few weeks ago, I will put your name on the shirt color and size you requested. But you can change your mind on size and color if you want.) I have plenty of additional shirts if you didn't pre-order. Cost is $20/shirt. I will take cash, check, paypal or GooglePay!

Unless you win this week... then your shirt is FREE!

I'm absolutely must vote for Debivans.

His work reminded me of how, once a month, I would have to express the anal glands of my Great Dane. Oh, how I wished it could have been rainbows!

I cast my VOTE for Debivans. Unicorn. Rainbow. I likewise immediately thought of canine anal glands. I find equine anal glands infinitely more disturbing.

I vote Troy!

I am voting Troy. I really want to see an HP Lovecraft kids book! Even an all Lovecraft chalk off theme would be cool.

Today's pieces all seemed to have a weird animal theme going on. Shout out to new chalkie Jake's piece, I really like it! Also Adam's Alien on a bike has super cool perspective.

And I think we all know the answer to Dawn's question: Frost Park! (or most of Pierce County as that is where the state justice system releases them)

I vote for Mel. Her inspirational story about seeing the undigested giant squid suckers being recovered from the belly of a sperm whale on a NOVA special was riveting.

HT to Debivans and Adam the Alien for biking to Frost Park today! Next Friday is national Bike to Work Day, so I'm hoping to see the park littered with bicycles!

I want that shirt. Plus I'm rather proud of what I managed to draw, especially considering I got there half an hour late and finished ten minutes early. I vote for myself.

Troy's is amazing!!!!
But Debivans is perhaps the funniest and most disturbing chalk Evar!

I vote for Debivans

The votes are in!

Adam 7
Debivans 5
Troy 3
Thorax o'toole 2
Mel 1
Jake 1

Adam's voting army comes on strong and gives him the win at the end. That means Adam wins 2 of the 3 basics of life this week (food and clothing).

If you post the color and size you want today, Adam, I will get the shirt to you via special courier tonight!
