Poetry Reading and Open Mic

Distinguised Writer Series, featuring Anita K. Boyle

This monthly event features a Distinguished Writer and an Open Mic for poets. This month features poet Anita K. Boyle, followed by an Open Mic, sign-up is at 6:30 pm. Admission is free. The event occurs monthly the second Friday of every month at King's Books. Sponsored by the Puget Sound Poetry Connection and the Tacoma Arts Commission.

Anita K. Boyle is an illustrator and graphic designer, as well as author of What the Alder Told Me (MoonPath Press, 2011). Her poems have appeared in literary magazines, including StringTown, The Raven Chronicles, Crab Creek Review, Cranky, Indiana Review, Spoon River Review and in the anthology Saints of Hysteria. She lives near an inspiring pond outside Bellingham, Washington with poet/friend/partner James Bertolino.
