Guild of American Luthiers Public Exhibition of Handmade Instruments

Everyone is welcome to attend the Saturday afternoon exhibit of the Guild of American Luthiers 20th Convention/Exhibition at no charge. Donít miss this unique opportunity to see hundreds of handmade stringed musical instruments displayed in two large halls in PLUís University Center, and meet the luthiers who created them. Woods and supplies used in the lutherie trade will also be on display.

The Guild of American Luthiers is a non-profit educational membership organization whose purpose is to facilitate learning about the art,craft and science of lutherie (stringed instrument construction). Started by a group of budding craftsmen in 1972, the Guild has grown to become a driving force in the current "Golden Age" of lutherie through it's constant committment to a free exchange of information among luthiers of all areas and experience levels.
