Three local photographers have teamed up to help you look your best just in time for the holidays! You'll want to be first in line at Tacoma's debut of "Food for Fotos." April Greer & Latasha Haynes Photography partnered for this event to aid a local non-profit and encourage social networking in the midst of a sluggish economy. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to put on the ritz or simply ham it up for this marathon photo shoot. Food donations are your ticket at the door! Bring non-perishable Thanksgiving food items and get your mugshots taken by some of Tacoma's most requested professional photographers. April Greer specializes in commercial photography, while Latasha and Isaiah Haynes specialize in portrait and wedding photography.


Photos are posted online immediately for downloading on the nation's biggest social networking site! Retouched copies can be obtained for a small service charge. Experience being photographed at one of Tacoma's largest and swankiest photo studios located on 508 6th Ave Tacoma inside the Merlino Arts building. Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and sweets while mingling. Participants can register for doorprizes from a variety of in-demand products and consulting services. Proceeds from this even will be donated to Peace Community Center (www.peacetacoma.org) , a non-profit organization. Peace Community Center provides Thanksgiving dinner to local families in need. This event is not limited to Tacoma residents. Washington businesses including Tweet Toffee, La Unica, TowelDry, Victory Get Fit, LakeBridge Forza and Babblin Babs Bistro have donated several items to benefit this cause. Please bring yourself and everyone you know!
