SCATS Sushi Meet-up

Join the creators of SCATS James Stowe and Kevin Freitas for their first ever [well, anything really] sushi night at Gari of Sushi on S. 38th in Tacoma! Kevin will face his fears and find non-tuna sushi that will again bring sushi back into his life.

And if that's not enticing enough, there will be prizes! Study up 'cause we'll be giving a SCATS fanatic quiz the winner of which will get to pick the next locale for our ongoing illustrated conversations AND a signed SCATS #1 print to call their very own. Stowe will even draw this week's strip live!

Please RSVP in the comments below and we'll see you there!

I'll be there. As I recall, the tempura dragon roll is awesome!

I will definitely be there and I will be drawing a new strip live. I will also be eating sushi. I will also draw any suggestions. Suggestions accompanied by sushi might even stay in the published strip.

One last thing.

I will have a special announcement to make that only people attending the sushi dinner will hear about FIRST.

Be one of those people.

P.S. - The sushi didn't kill me but my throat still had issues. Must've been prepped or fried in the same stuff as tuna. Sadly I believe, unless it is custom made for me, sushi is now off my list for good. :(
