Can't make it tomorrow. Perhaps a chalkie can pick up a pumpkin from the HFW compound for the hand off? Or Maybe it would be more fun to hide a pumpkin in the park and hope it makes it to noon unmolested ?

Episode 29 already! It's the penultimate episode of season 3

Bullshit. Who says we have to stop at 30? The only reason we did that season one was because the timing worked out well to coincide with Halloween.

Last year, Larry and I kept going a few weeks more.

...until the annual Washington Rain Festival beat us down. Several weeks in a row of saturating rains tend to do that.

So officially say that the frost park chalk offs end at 30, but have the "Frost Park Chalk Winter Resistance" for the brave souls who are willing to face the Washington weather. :D

The thing is, we tell people "April through October" so we can't end before October is over. Also, we've never actually ended on 30. Even the first year, it only worked out as being #30 because one of the weeks got overlooked and not numbered.

I have no problem with the "official" season ending at the end of October. However, I have a problem with artificially ending it before October ends, given that we tell people we run through the end of October.

Plus, we started the "official" numbering earlier in April than usual, this year.

Yay! Happy fun times!

I didn't get to do Sgt Pepper as detailed as I wanted, but heck, it was a fun concept. I vote for JOEL.

Why because I can.

A year-end Chalkie party at Amocat along with a group show in the Gallery Room for the month of December. Vote for this along with your votes today.

Chalk on canvas; photos; sketches; espresso napkin drawings... probably not chalk on the floors though.

There were a LOT of good ones this week (Poppy's best pieces yet, Brian's breathtaking nightmarish imagery, Andrea's piece was, but ultimately, I vote for Jewell (aka Kiru13).

Jewell drew quite a number of drawings, most notably her Snake-opus, which matched nicely next to Poppy's squiddy compass. I don't believe all of Jewell's pieces are represented in the photos.

Brian did a hell of a job on that wall this week and I love Poppy's compass too. I'm a new fan to pumpkin beer so Thorax's piece hits close to home and it was oh so good to have some Stowe chalk again. Joel gets points for ambition but my vote is for Andrea's rotting lungs because she did a killer job and because smoking sucks.

Note a Vote for Andrea C. Her most expressive piece I've seen yet. I loved Thorax's Irrational pumpkin Pi and Kiru13 had a great concept with her Polka-dotted Snaketopus. BTW; Stowe- how did you mix a Moogle with a rainbow chocobo?

I like Stowes alot, nice colors warm and fuzzy for real but I`m sticking to the season going to make sure my pieces get more scarry looking . It was a good day though I chalked two pieces today. I vote this one for my self. I`m up for chalking Amocat in december and definately the chalk season dont have to end yet I have to many drawings to do. Not enough Fridays.
