This week the fine folks over at Pacific Grill are offering up their fine food and drink in the form of a $50 gift certificate to the winner! Thanks to them and I'd suggest a foodie theme for tomorrow because of it. Any takers?

Wow! Great prize.

Nibby, Noms, and Ralph recently paid Pacific Grill a visit. They recommend the salmon, followed with the Tawny Port with dessert.

The doubloons and Mayan Calendar of Doom had a higher retail value...

Just sayin'.

(of course, you can't eat doubloons and a calendar medal- but chance are they would last longer...)

the Tacoma Urbanist is just biased when it comes to upscale restaurants.

what he really means is WE LOVE ALL OUR SPONSORS AND PRIZES EQUALLY WITH THE SAME FEVERED ENTHUSIASM !

Any idea, The Jinxmedic, when that great map case featured with the doubloons and Mayan Calendar of Doom will be available. I have one of those fancy iPads on the way and need something to tote it around in. The ACU digital camo would be very cool.

by The Jinxmedic
on 8/19/2010 @ 5:16pm
Crenshaw- Very, very, soon- as soon as I have the geocaching line approved by corporate, they will be on the web store.

Actually, I may have one ACU camo sample available for field testing. Interested? You would have to write a review....

Thanks for the offer, The Jinxmedic. I'll wait to buy one of these cases because I'm something of a bag junkie and I'd hate to give it a terrible review if it doesn't work out. It looks like it will do the job but real life has told me otherwise. I've seen quite a few military maps cases and I must say these look to be be the best of the contemporary lot.

by Jesse

Isn't meat beautiful? If vegans hate it so much, why do they have foods that try and taste like it? No active carnivore is trying to make their steak taste like carrots...

I vote for RR's meats.

It's been tough - I love meat. However, I love red wine bit more. Smoked salmon's lovely too.

I VOTE for my fish-flavored wine.

I like RR's meat. It looks beefy. I like Mark's pie. It looks tasty. I like Ben's BOOM. It was scary.

Under normal circumstances, I'd vote for the BOOM, however, Andrea's features a salmon.
WIN!
I can has vote for Andrea.

It's a difficult choice - I almost went for Brian, but as I'm on the Oregon coast with my lovely Shannon, and fish (and the salmon we had a few nights ago) is constantly on my brainstuffs...I have to VOTE for Andrea.

by NineInchNachos
on 8/20/2010 @ 7:59pm
I for one am TiRed of being hustled by Andrea. You think she can beat the wall of meat? NO! NO ONE BEATS THE MEAT!

I can't Decide between RR, Andrea or Debivan! okay to solve this I shall use 1d6. 1,2 for Devican 3,4 for RR 5,6 for Andrea *dice roll* lands a 3 so I vote for RR. :D

Sorry I missed out today but great entries and photos of the entries! I'm a huge fan of the kids adding some water back into the fountain as well as Mahta's piece -- welcome to them! Brian rocked with his kids it looks like and I totally dug RR's sweet meat and Andrea's elegant glass and bottle. I'm excited by Mark's pie but, since it was the boom heard around the world (but not really here in Cle Elum) I vote for Debivans.

Well done everyone and we have another cool prize offered up for next week as well. Cheers!

Couple comments that didn't include the word "vote", but there is still a clear winner.

Monlux- 2
Brian- 5
RR- 6
Andrea- 8
Debivans- 1

Congrats Andrea!

Wow close one. Thanks for your votes! The meat made it to second place. Only one thing could beat the meat... a sock-eye salmon!
