Alright you chalkers and stalkers, I have an out of town sponsor for this week. From the distant land of Federal Way, The Scoreboard Pub is donating a $20 gift card to this week's Best Illustrator in the Universe. The Scoreboard is a first-rate sports pub with great atmosphere and a killer menu that puts most pub grub to shame.

As far as a theme goes I was thinking of "Happy Hour". Of course, this theme is open to all sorts of interpretations.

Mmm... happy hour! For the runner up I'm offering up a ticket (and a ride there!) to tomorrow night's Tacoma Tide match versus the Kitsap FC! It's their last regular season home game so let's show 'em we care. Go Tide!

Wow, two great prizes, and a nice day! Alas, I will be absent once again this week, as all my co-workers took the day off which over rules my Telecommute Friday and requires my presence in Seattle :( BOOO!

Kevin got pictures but he's going to be late getting home to post them. Suffice to say, you want to vote for MY HEAD. By Stowe.

P.S. I vote for MY HEAD. By Stowe.

well since I was there and know what to expect I'm casting my vote for Poppies Martini glass and frog. Not only did it stay on theme for a happy hour at a bar but the frog was so awesome looking.

I will say that Stowe's portrait was stunning.

I'd like to vote for for my son Barrett's Boxcar Astronaut eating icecream. Great job Barrett!

And happy birthday Joe. I wish that picture of your head laying down next to your head was posted... that would have been cool to see.

a little conflicted here; Kendra did a great piece, does anyone have a picture of it finished? I love the question posed by Tram. It's all about ducks in my house right now. Stow did a great self portrait, it even has that happy hour glow. I also like how happy Kiru13's girl looks.

I think I'll vote for Stowe

I gotta VOTE Stowe. The Joe Head was rendered with only 3 colors! Just shows that it's not the tools, it's the talent.

A shout out for Emily's piece. Reminds me of a puzzle beer cap.

To be fair, I didn't post pics or tweet things until nearly 5pm. Busy afternoon but anyone's always welcome to post pics of the contenders. Plus, if everyone helps spread the Frost Park voting word we could push these polls higher!

That being said, well done Stowe and Debivans! I'll be in touch about soccer tonight Debivans and encourage everyone to join in at Curtis High tonight for their last game of the season.

Damn, I missed voting!

Well, I would have voted for the winner, Stowe, anyway. That portrait is spectacular. That said, I also love Debivan's hilarious "Money for Karate Lessons" and Poppy's cute Martini Frog.

Yay! Go Tide! Looking forward to seeing some soccer in Tacoma tonight, anyone remember the Stars?

Mr. Stowe, I can present you with your gift card at Frost Park next week or sooner if you would like.

I have an idea. How about have 3 classifications (by age for drawings) hence 3 votes for every voter here.Have a 18 year old and older class,a 12 to 17 year old classification and a pre 12 year old classification so teens and pre teens could win also.
It's doubtful that the younger age group would win against expert older artists so how about giving them a chance to win too (say some appropriate prizes also for these age groups).
It's just an idea though.any opinions on this?

How about a senior citizen classification? Pretty sure I could scrawl out some imagery reflecting my extreme insensitivity if there was bottle of hooch for a prize.

I've been away. I vote for stowe! and debivans!
