Inaugural meeting of the Tacoma Community Stewards Network

Engaging citizens to guide their neighborhoods toward a complete, compact and connected future.

Please join us for the inaugural meeting of the Tacoma Community Stewards Network on March 12th

Thursday, March 12th, 7–9pm, at UW-Tacoma (Please RSVP to craigb@cascadeland.org or 206-905-6891 for more details).

Cascade Land Conservancy would like to invite you to the founding meeting of the Tacoma Community Stewards network.

Please join us on March 12th to help create the Community Stewards Network in Tacoma and choose which issues the network should focus on to improve Tacoma’s quality of life now and create a better future for those who come after us. You will also learn how the Conservancy can empower you with the tools, abilities and support necessary to take action as issues arise, and successfully guide your local neighborhood toward a complete, compact and connected future.

Community Stewards will lead a network of volunteers in their community to guide local decisions about future growth, making their communities even better places to live while helping to save the region’s farms, forests and natural areas from poorly planned development. The Conservancy will provide Community Stewards with an organizational structure, communication tools including an online forum, and ongoing technical staff support.

Please contact Craig Benjamin to RSVP or for more information: craigb@cascadeland.org or 206-905-6891.
